@@justinhuestis2891 Unlikely you’ll have enough power from your outlets in the house. The most you can draw from a normal house is 100 amps before the breakers trip. If you were to get 10 of the power supplies in this video you would be nearing the limit of the house main breaker.

@@rasmonkey1622 Bought this one last week to replace a Pioneer DDJ 1000 SRT. My last 7 controllers were pioneer, glad I got the Rane. Sounds and feels better.

@@mykalmatters8322 Could be quite a few things like sound card, design, parts used digital to analog converters etc. Hard to say without seeing a schematic for both.

@@mykalmatters8322 Agreed, the Pioneer doesn’t sound bad they just sound different but I personally prefer the sound of the Rane.

@@djsupafly1 I’ll make one to see at what point they distort, the Rane may not distort due to the limiter (something I didn’t know about the Rane). But I’ll put it to the test before someone buys the Pioneer😁

@@MasterDJRenn the sound cards are also different. Rane performer has a 48kHz convertor compared to the DDJ1000 that only has 44.1kHz. It might not seem like a big difference but when the EQ's and volume gains are used, the difference on a high quality sound system will show the true comparison.

@@djsupafly1 I have a somewhat high end system and you can definitely hear the subtle differences.

@@Soundguy44 I I would call the midrange ugly, but it it definitely pronounced in the Rane. I don’t think one is better that the other, just different

@@MasterDJRenn The midrange seems boosted internally on the Rane. The pioneer just sound much flatter. If I had a choice between these 2 I would choose the pioneer. Do you own both of these controllers?

@@Soundguy44 I do own both. The high are more pronounced on the Pioneer the mids are more pronounced on the Rane. The low end sounds fatter on the Rane where are the low end sound thin on the pioneer.

It’s not designed to handle 1 ohm loads.

@@MasterDJRenn And that is the sad truth about Pro Audio, you need to have a 4 ohm or high impedance speaker just to protect the amp from burning. Imagine getting a thousand watts at 8 ohms is ridiculously high.

96khz sample rate on the 360 vs 48khz on the pa2. I have a 360 and two pa2, I can’t tell the difference in sound. There are some other differences. The software for the pa2 works on an iPad but for the 360, I doesn’t go full screen, dbx has know about the issue for some years now and still no fix. I use my laptop with the 360 iPad with pa2. If price is no issue, get the 360, it’s there too of the line, if not get the pa2, you won’t hear a difference, well I can’t hear a difference.

Setting up gain structure on a 900nxs2 mixer Xlr balanced out master 1. Dbx pa2 should I have it at +4db or minus 10db.
